I am on the hunt...

So of course wedding planning is well on the way, but being a person who is ever so slightly fashion conscious, please believe the fear of my outfit not being PERFECT on the day remains.

The funny thing is, it's not even the dress, or the hair, or the makeup. It's....the SHOES! Grrrrr...

Shoes are defo my weakness when it comes to the high street; New look (though their shoes have gone down in quality over the years), Kurt Geiger, Dorothy Perkins (most comfortable heels in the world!)..you name it. Ahh, why are shoes like this?! ANYWAY...here lies my dilemma. What the heck shoes am I gonna wear on my wedding day??? Do I wanna match the bridemaids dresses? My grooms suit? Do I want them to be really bridal and pretty or edgy and unexpected? God. Help. Me.

Talk a walk with me through my store of online options, well, a few of them....

The BAIT Jimmy Choo's that I have seen looking oh-so-lovely on lots of brides online...

Or this simple nude pair from Guiseppe for a softer effect?

Or go bold and daring with a 'pop' colour from the rainbow :)

Need I say more....

Oh decisions decisions, I mean its not a life and death situation but you gotta get it juuust right! Shoes are the best part of an outfit, especially on your big day! (personal opinion lol) x

P.s. Before I go, can we just talk about these for a minute. *passes out at the thought of breaking ankles* Somehow they look amazing though!

One more down!

Yesterday was a great day! I love having productive days, it feels like your moving in life :D So yeah, I can't give exact details but we ticked off another thing on the wedding to-do-list and I think I can say for both of us that everythings moving in the right direction. Thank GOD!

We travelled on the Circle and District line to *insert secret location* and just really bagged a great deal *smiles all round*. Here are some pics from the day.

Jason cooked us up a lovely brekkie :)

My OOTD: Wedges (£79, Carvela), Jeggings (£14.99, H&M), Jumper (£12.99 H&M), Cape style jacket (£15, H&M sale), Scarf (Mums), Bag (£15, Spitafields Market)

I love this aztec style necklace, it can really edge up a plain outfit (£4, Dorothy Perkins)

This game *sigh*

Waiting. How impatient do I look lol.

A lil character from the shop. I love it!

The end of another great day! x

V-day

Everyone has their lil 'Whats the origin of Valentines day' stories and fables, I personally just see it as another day but for us its also a day where if we wanted to we could share gifts, take each other out of just spend some good ole quality time together.

I think the only issue with Valentines day is where people start behaving out of character towards the opposite sex. Motives should be questioned lol. But on the whole, as long as your not sucked into spending plenty of skrilla on things that wont last more than a day, its good to share love.

Here are some pics from how Jason and I spend our first and last valentines as fiances! We went to one of my favourite places in London, Brick Lane :) For some reason, I decided to wear a smokey eye but it felt right so I went with it lol. I have to say I was more than impressed with Jason's styling ;)

LOL gangsigns Smh

Can you see the heart?

The food was amazing!

Oh and I highly recommend dining at The Real Greek, the food is always amaze! We went to the one in Spitafields Market but theres loads dotted around. Check 'em out! x

Vintage Fashion

I think it's fair to say, I am utterly obsessed with fashion and photography from the 20th Century. Just name a decade. I absolutely love seeing how fashion recycles itself through the years and here are a few of the vintage pics I've collected.

Some guys in Zoot suits from the 30s/40s

A teddy girl from the 50s

Twiggy

Kellys crop tops and plimsolls LOL

My beautiful Mam in the 80s

My pops rockin a turtle also in the 80s

Ultimate SWV in the 90s. Probably my inspiration for half the things I wear.

I couldn't pick a favourite decade or style, each one contributes to my personal style and has played a great part in fashion history! x

Let the good times roll...

It's looking like if I start blogging again, there may be a serious diversion in focus for the mere fact that I am head over heels into wedding planning at this 6-months-to-go-stage *wipes brow*.

To blog is to express- quote me. Being on my half-term has given me a bit of thinking time as to what I really want to do, career and otherwise so I have no idea how this is gonna turn out but taking the first step is a must at this point.

You can defo expect some wedding/marriage posts from me and probably a few style posts as well. It's getting warmer so let the good times roll! x
