Scenario: So you go clothes shopping, probably on your local high street, or West End, or major shopping centre and you come to a shop. Not too expensive, not too cheap. After a few minutes of browsing round something catches your eye, pace accelerates until you get a clear view of the garment or accessory you caught a glimpse of. You check the price, not bad...and then....comes the thought...I wonder how many other people have bought it :s
Do you know how often this happens to me!! Grrrrr..
This weekend, I found a pair of suede aqua coloured heels, that I genuinely have been searching for...in one of THE baitest stores in the country. They had to be bought but re-jouged. I couldn't just wear them like that, in case of course I saw someone else in them...so standing in the queue, I thought what could I do to them and had a lil look around the accesories sale section, et voila! Les chaussures de unique!
Heels- £12
Peacock flower brooche- £1 each
Total spend= £14!

Inspiration
So the last few weeks have been eventful to say the least. Letting go of baggage in the mind definitely creates room for positive and constructive thoughts.
Last week, myself and my good friend were involved in a photoshoot styled by ourselves. Nash is also an aspiring stylist and with our own unique backgrounds in fashion and styling we were able to compliment one another and create individual looks. The photographer and his assistant were amazing and I know it was a small step into the great vision that we all have. Here are few of the photos styled by myself plus some experiemental make-up ;)
When it comes to the things you're passionate about, holding back because of fear of doubt will only cause you more discouragement. All it takes is one small step. Shout out to Dvisionaiir for the shoot! x

Happy birthday Sia!
I can't go to bed without dedicating one of my baby blogs to my beautiful homie, Siaba who has turned 23! (It's only just not her birthday anymore so this still counts!!)
I met Sia at the primary school I work in and who better to put in the classroom right next door to me! One of the most creative and determined people I have had the priviledge of knowing. It hasn't been long at all, but she is someone who has truly been there for me...its been a mad year and I hope I am as much of a support to her as she is to me. I love people who think differently to me and even though we are similar at times we have very unique backgrounds and as friends do, you get to learn more about each other as time goes on. Siaba's crazy. Lol.
As well as my newest friend, Sia's also my wedding planner and is already surprising me with her organisation and enthusiam. Its gonna be one of those years but I pray that it will be a productive one. Thank you so much Sia for everything, really this blog is not enough! But yeah...keep being true to who you are and I love you!! All the best in everything you do! *mwah*
Happy birthday Siaba!!!

Trying a hand at...
Make up. Hmm, I've never really been keen on make-up. My younger days were filled with football, cars and music, the whole dress up girly thing didn't appeal to me so much.
Until I went to uni. *dum dum duuuum* Yeah...it all got a bit dramatic with the amount of make up I wore, which is fun as long as one doesn't become dependent on it to feel good. People wear or don't wear make up for different reasons. I personally will wear foundation to hide a few blemishes and mascara or eyeliner to bring out my eyes and lashes.
I have a friend called Flow (her blog: www.madamflow.tumblr.com), shes an MUA and she has taught me over the time that I've known her a thing or two about creating different looks. I have to say it did sound a bit like Latin to me, all the different brushes n contouring n what have you...but today I decided to give it a go with my SLEEK palette and my petite soeur kindly volunteered after I forced her to model for me...Here you go:
With the help of a few youtube tutorials, I kinda got the gist of it and it was FUN! So yeah, plently more of this n that x

A new Chapter
Ok, so a lot of things are being rejigged in my life right now and I keep meaning to blog! Lifes just got a whole lot busier as my lovely Jason proposed to me last week! *beaming smile* Here is the ring...
I won't go into all the details of how he proposed but here are some lil snaps from the beautiful day:
A big I LOVE YOU to Jason. I still can't believe you guys got me...I should have seen the signs! lol
My days pretty much consist of wedding planning, eating and sleeping. But, alas, work is round the corner, summer holidays are nearly over and as much as I want to get back to work, I know my schedules going to be packed to the brim! But its fun and I know God will always equip me for the purpose he has for me. So yeah! Engaged and that, wedding next year! Hopefully I keep up the blogging this time around :) x

My Four-way Scarf
So I purchased this scarf for a bargain, (£2 from a church in Brixton) and with a maxi skirt from Zara and boob tube..voila...
Dont under estimate the power a simple accesory has to transform a outfit depending on the occasion! x
1. I just threw it round my neck like a scarf and tucked the two long bits into the skirt, creating a kinda modest effect ... Below is the back...
2. 'Turban-style' - I learnt this trick of my mate's blog at www.rosemarierocks.com. She has a super tutorial on how simple DIY-ing a turban is :)x
3. The neck-scarf . A big bow, to the left, right or centre...
(I used a hair doughnut from Boots (£4.50) for a volumised bun ;) Best hair accessory Ive bought this year I tell ya)
And lastly....4. Tying the scarf round your shoulders like a shawl when it gets a bit cooler in the evening....
